Our NYC teachers service the dynamic, diverse and dedicated tribe you could expect to make their way onto our dancefloors here. It provides a refuge of rhythm for those who are hungry to maintain a real self within the creative pulse, urban edge, and tribal soul of Manhattan. There is no more exciting place on earth, as it perfectly mirrors the complexity and challenges we face when we look within. Our NYC offerings of daily classes, short and long form workshops are available to dance you through all levels of the 5Rhythms every year.
As we bid farewell to Fall and welcome Winter, we gather together to light an inner spark, to warm ourselves, to tune in, and to co-create.
TWILIGHT is an invitation to explore how two potent movement practices come together to deepen our creative process:
Where pulsing rhythms meets fertile silence.
Where courageous expression meets inner listening.
Where personal process meets group holding.
Guided by the 5Rhythms® Waves Map and the practice of Authentic Movement, we’ll take a light into our inner terrain and open to what our creativity has to show us.
This one-day workshop will be capped at 30 participants to create a tight ensemble. No prior experience is necessary.
Come as you are.
Leave lit from within.

ABOUT AUTHENTIC MOVEMENT:
Authentic Movement is a contemplative practice in which movers close their eyes and follow inner impulses, allowing movement to arise from deep bodily awareness rather than conscious control. Through attentive witnessing, it cultivates presence, trust in the body’s wisdom, and insight into the connection between inner and outer experience.

ABOUT NICO ALLEN:
Nico is a 5Rhythms teacher, trained actor, vocal artist and somatic explorer here to walk with you as you unleash the power hidden in your cells.
Through play, curiosity, and discovery we ask the body to show us where to go to access our most radical, fully expressed aliveness and wake up to the full spectrum brilliance inside you. Based in Brooklyn, Nico offers 1:1 somatic work and leads the epic 5Rhythms series BODYWERK, redefining just how liberating and healing a dance floor can be.

Compassion – an alchemical mixture made from our own blood, sweat, and tears.
Compassion – a homeo-empathic remedy for separation.
Compassion – a tincture for the hardened heart, medicine for the broken heart.
And
A poultice to draw out our fears of being compassionate, of being vulnerable, of being precious and temporary.
We’ll gather together to hold each other in giving the space for each of us to explore the tender dances of how we shy away from compassion, the raw dances of how we step back from compassion, the complicated dances of how we avoid our natural instinct to be compassionate. Towards others, and towards ourselves.
